FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONSimageOur Arizona Defensive Driving Course is certified by the Arizona Supreme Court (School #402).

How much does the class cost?

When completing for ticket dismissal, the total cost of the class includes a state fee ($69), a court fee (set by the court that issued your ticket), and the school fee (online courses are $25 and classroom courses are $50).

To get the total cost to attend, please enter your court information using your arizona citation.

Do I really have to submit my ticket and driver license to start the class?

Yes. The Arizona  Code for Judicial Administration sets out the requirements. We must receive your ticket and driver license before you can begin. For classroom, you just take those documents with you to the class. For online, you must submit them to us via email, text, or fax.

I have completed. Now what?

We report your information to the Arizona Supreme Court within 3 business days of the completion. We forward your court payment to the court within 10 calendar days. Every 15 days, we forward the state fees to the Arizona Supreme Court.

If someone at the court instructed you to show proof of completion, take your Instant Certificate to satisfy that requirement.

For those thinking, "Did someone tell me to show proof?" Showing proof at the court is a rare occurrence since we report directly into the court's system via the Defensive Driving Tracking System. If you are still uncertain if someone asked you to show proof, just call the court and ask if they require you to show your certificate.

What's the catch?

There isn't one. This program is specifically designed for those folks who received a civil infraction in Arizona. The more we drive, the more likely we are to get into an incident (traffic stop, collission, etc).

This class is to provide those who get a ticket once in a while an opportunity to refresh their understanding of Arizona traffic laws and avoid the punishment of having their motor vehicle record impacted.

We know your time is valuable, so we cover a lot of ground in our course, but we try to provide as much, relevant information as we possibly can.
